As the largest and only county-wide tourism awards, they represent the pinnacle of achievement in Lancashire. As the only route for Lancashire businesses to enter the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, they offer a rare opportunity to take that success onto the national stage. Year after year, we are proud to see Lancashire businesses go through to be recognised as national finalists, representing the County among England’s very best.
The latest STEAM 2024 figures reflect both the scale and resilience of the sector, with 68.6 million visitors, generating £5.7 billion for the economy and supporting over 57,000 jobs. But behind these achievements are businesses working harder than ever, adapting, innovating and continuing to deliver outstanding experiences in challenging times.
These awards are a moment to pause, recognise and celebrate the hard work, innovation and resilience that define Lancashire’s tourism sector today. A chance to shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond, supporting local communities and driving the industry forward.
